T4J translators undertake only to translate articles for which they have obtained the right to do so.
T4J translators undertake to provide the full translation of ordered articles after receipt of payment.
T4J translators undertake to immediately contact T4J if, for any reason, they are unable to meet an order. In such an event, T4J shall appoint an alternative translator with the same mother tongue and specialization.
In the event of non-compliance with any of the above conditions, the translator’s account is closed, and the translation fee is paid to the alternative translator.
The number of words in the source article and the cost for its full translation are indicated below each translated excerpt. The number of words in the final text may differ from that of the source article as a result of the translation process.
Payment is by PayPal or credit card.
The translation fee must be paid to T4J before translation takes place.
On receipt of payment, the corresponding order is sent by T4J to the translator, and T4J checks the corresponding translation is delivered on time to the customer.
Translated articles are sent by email to the purchaser with a request for acknowledgement of receipt.
T4J cannot be held responsible for any malfunction, whether temporary or permanent, of the purchaser’s messaging system that prevents its timely receipt of the translated article.
In the event the T4J messaging system is inoperative at the time of transmission, T4J shall take every measure to ensure the translated article is delivered on-time, such as fax, FTP.
Publication of translated articles
T4J cannot be held responsible for the ultimate use of the translated articles sold via its website.
T4J cannot be held responsible for any error in reproduction or modification made to the delivered translation.
T4J cannot be held responsible in any way for the content of translations published on its website, which are accurate, true and unbiased reflections of the source text.
No refunds are paid after a translation has been ordered.
Commission fees to translators
On the first sale of an article, T4J pays the linguist the full price of their translation.
On each subsequent sale, T4J pays a commission fee to the linguist equal to 37.5% of the selling price of the translation.
Commission fees to rights owners
On the first sale of an article, T4J pays the rights owner a commission fee equal to 8% of the selling price of the translation.
On each subsequent sale, T4J pays the rights owner a commission fee equal to 37.5% of the selling price of the translation.
Use of T4J articles is copyright free, provided the name of the source, and the name of the translator are indicated.
Any total or partial representation of this site by any person whatsoever without the express permission of T4J is prohibited and constitutes an infringement punishable by articles L. 335-2 of the Code of Intellectual Property.
